Our Franklin Cotbed Review
We assembled the Franklin cotbed whilst having two children running rings around us, so as you could imagine it was chaos! Thankfully, the DIY instructions were very clear and easy to follow. It’s fair to say this is the best flat pack furniture we’ve have ever put up and it’s still so sturdy and solid!
The Franklin cotbed has two adjustable heights which is fantastic for parents with new-born babies; this allows easy access for parents whilst offering maximum safety. It also means I can adjust the cot to match my little one’s growth and I can remove the rails and transform the Franklin into a toddler bed. We completed our cotbed with a Mamas & Papas premium pocket spring mattress.
The mattress definitely provides extra comfort; my little one has slept really well since using both products! Before now she would toss and turn for quite a while trying to get comfortable but now she snuggles down and go straight to sleep. The mattress safety features such as the breathable designs provides peace of mind for parents.
The under cotbed drawers is a brilliant feature for us as storage is the key in our household. Having drawers with plenty of room for clothing and toiletries are such an extra help. The drawers are effortless to open and close, and most importantly have a soft-close feature to not disturb baby when she’s sleeping. Over all, the Franklin cotbed has lots of great features with my favourite being that it converts to a toddler bed; we will be able to keep this for years to come which is great.
